Image Capture
Complete installation and configuration of image capture sub-systems,
using Kofax Ascent
Capture or EMC Documentum Captiva:
- Selection and installation of document scanners appropriate to the
client's requirements for throughput, resilience etc.
- Installation and configuration of single or multi-workstation
implementations of Kofax Ascent Capture or Captiva
- Creation of custom batch and document classes and mapping these to
repository object types
Validation for the Pharmaceuticals Industry
Carrying out all validation activities as required by regulatory
authorities to enable the delivered system to be implemented in a
Pharmaceuticals GxP environment, including:
- Project delivery according to GAMP methodologies
- Creation of the key validation deliverables: Validation Plan,
Installation and Operational Qualification Protocols and Validation
Reports
- Execution and completion of test protocols using FDA-approved
method
- Liaising with the client's Quality function to obtain the
appropriate approvals leading to successful implementation of the
validated system
Compliance with the Code of Practice for Legal Admissibility
Systems can be designed and implemented so that they meet the
requirements of PD0008/1999: "Code of Practice for Legal
Admissibility and Evidential Weight of Information Stored
Electronically" as they apply to Electronic Document Management
Systems, including:
- use of optical WORM storage, or configuration of magnetic storage
to behave in a manner that satisfies the requirements of the Code of
Practice
- inclusion of the necessary metadata and controls within the system
to ensure compliance
- advice on, or production of, the appropriate Operating Procedures
required for compliance
